2018 Tournaments

Trevor and Anne win doubles title

Twenty players from seven clubs across the Yorkshire Federation braved rain,  high winds and eventually some very welcome sunshine whilst competing for the Restricted Doubles  Shield.

This competition restricted pairings to total handicaps of 10 or more.  An exciting final involved  Anne Walker ( Ripon) and Trevor Wood ( Ripon and Bishop Monkton ) who, after  their runner's up position  last year,  emerged victorious against  Yorkshire Federation Chairman Derek Knight ( Beverley) and his partner Patrick Davey ( Bishop Monkton).

Players were treated to morning coffee and afternoon tea by the host club Bishop Monkton and the competition was managed by Andrea Widdison and refereed by Dave Widdison.
