Celebrating Halloween

The best carved pumpkins

The Mason’s Arms had its very own scary party on Halloween night.
After the children had finished their ‘trick or treat’ around the village they all descended on the Mason’s where they terrified the patrons with their scary outfits and spookily painted faces.
There was also a best carved pumpkin competition and, as you will see from the accompanying photos, many hours had been spent carving all manner of spooky faces.
The imagination of the kids ( and parents!) who carved them is astounding!

APOLOGY: Some viewers, including those using iPads and iPhones may find the images below have been swivelled sideways. Unfortunately, although set up correctly, this is a technical problem which even the experts at BT have been unable to resolve for us. However, since Halloween is itself a bit spooky, bear with us and turn your devices on their side to view these photos!
